Dylan's Eagle

My son is now soaring. On Saturday September 18 he was awarded the highest rank in scouting. I'm proud to announce that he received his Eagle. He finished his project back in May before his 14th birthday. That was his goal. I'm glad that he sets goals and that he achieves them.
We took him out to eat as a family. A very rare thing for us to do, since there are 6 of us to feed. He picked Cheddars in Allen. Then off to the Allen stake center. There were a total of 14 boys that night getting their eagle award. What a honor for a stake. I got all choked up when my son was pinning me. Last time he will do that, oh he is growing up. I don't know if I'm ready for that.

Cody was one happy father. Both parents were there. As well as Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends. Very well supported.

Alex Randall and Dylan, I think they will both remember this night

Take a close look I'm trying to hold back the tears.

Dylan picked Jeremy Hersom as his mentor. This is him pinning Jeremy. We got him, he wasn't expecting it.

Cody, Dylan and Jeremy. All three Eagle Scouts.
