Oh my June just flew by. It was a busy month for our family. Riley went to Twilight camp while Jacob went to scout camp. Then my parents took Dylan for the week, so my nights that week I only had Blaze, it was very peaceful. Cody, Dylan and I were able to attend the Allen stake trek. It was so fun, that is my opinion. I truly felt uplifted and did not want to leave, the spirit was so strong. Yes it was hot and the path was hard, but we pulled through and we had an awesome family. I have to say the youth of this stake rock. They are bright examples of strength.

Before we left our house, so still fresh and clean

We visited the water fountains in fairview which had a stop at the purple cow for dinner, yummy!! Many trips to the pool once it opened. Oh and I can't forget we celebrated father's day and two birthday's. Jacob and Blaze share a birthday so we invited the family over for cake and ice-cream. It was a good day.

My niece came and visited with us for a few days. Oh and I can't forget that my sister-in-law Trish and her family were here. Went to Southern Junction for dancing and great food. It was a nice visit.

Jacob got to visit with my brother and his family in Corpus Christie for 4 days. Lucky him, he got to go to the beach. I can't believe all that we did. Now onto July, lets see what we can get in, so I can avoid the boredom.

Happy Birthday Dylan

It was so easy when you were one. You were are world (and still are). Being the oldest we watched you're every move. It was amazing to us all the things you learned and did.

At five, oh my. You are a big brother to two brother's who followed you around and you would play with them and help me out. You started school that year and still love every minute of it. I love the fact that you still enjoy reading.

Now you are turning 14, I can't believe it. You will be going to dances and starting high school. At 14 I had my first kiss, also had my heart broken, but it was fun and I've learned a great deal from my high school days. I know I was too young for the kissing thing(look at your youth Manuel). I know you tell us that you are not interested in girls, but it is okay, just wait until 16 to start dating, (don't follow my foot steps). How else are you going to know what kind of girl you want to marry. Yikes, not to fast. Just enjoy being you, an amazing kid. Now a teenager, with high hopes and dreams. I hope with all your hard work you will be able to attend BYU, serve a mission and marry in the temple. We love you Dylan!!!

Cody's Birthday

My husband is a Ham, we celebrated his birthday at home very quickly. We have had a busy week. I did get a chance to take him out to dinner. With kids and work, our schedules get very busy. We always have something going on. On top of that my husband took on a part time job. His work is cutting back, so his pay went down. So in the mean time, part time job. This is why I love him so much. I hope times get better, this is only temp. He is bringing in a lot of new business, so his pay will eventually go up. At least he has Sunday's and Wednesday's off.

Happy Birthday Cody. We love you.

I don't know why the clip is not working, but it is posted on facebook.

LDS Social

Lasso The Moon

Casey Sanders, Sarah Burchett

All the Kids dancing, Mad house

Cody and I, Flynn Peters

Cody and I were able to attend the Lds Social(Prom) on Friday night. It was alot of fun seeing all the kids grown up that we have known since they we're little ones. Time does seem to fly by so very fast. Cody and I even did some dancing, but let me tell you that the dance floor was so packed that it left little room to dance.
It is always a pleasure to serve the youth in our church. They remind us of where we have been and where we are going.

Scary to think that my son's will soon be able to attend these functions. I really do look forward to seeing them grow up into young men and then men.
